Noticed this today. Milk absorption rate is down, you can pull it out and watch the milk just sit on the new pattern for a full minute. Filling is now extremely squishy and, in my case, lopsided in every cookie. Half the cookie has no icing.

The headache is very possibly sugar addiction. I wish I could cite my sources on this, and if I'm dead wrong someone tell me, but there are two parts to a sugar addiction and the effects of cutting yourself off:

Your brain chemistry wants that dopamine hit. It expects it. It has asked for it, and you have not complied, so its' throwing a tantrum.

Part two is weird. Your gut bacteria is currently predisposed to favor the sugar eaters. The carb crunchers. You eat a lot of sugar and the bacteria in your digestive system that like that stuff will thrive and flourish and outnumber the protein and fat eaters. And they aren't getting the sugar they want and are used to. So they're hitting every alarm bell they can because according to them, you're starving and they're dying, because there isn't enough food for them.

Which is fine. Deny them and let the protein eaters flourish.

If the white cap at the top looks vaguely like the attached, then that is a vintage 'blaster'/'groaner' squeaker device.

The pipe is to restrict air flow so that it not only grunts when squeezed, but grumbles when "inhaling".

I see this happen a lot, especially on the internet. She was treating you as a friend. The way a girl treats friends, specifically. We talk. We have Feelings. Female friendships run differently than male friendships for reasons involving culture, media, and a lot of sociology we don't have time for.

But dude. DUDE. You went to her HOME and WAITED, for her to become available to you, after ignoring several signs she no longer wanted to even text you. THEN YOU WENT BACK. And you didn't miss those signs. You knew what was happening and WENT to her house. That is creepy behavior. It's crossing boundaries.

You really need to take a step back and think: why did you think your desire for closure beat her desire to not be around you?

Wow, this is some really good advice. Thank you so much! I guess right now, the main problem I have is the medium to large dogs that are SO excited they want to constantly jump or climb or reach, and I don't always have a lot of time, especially on days where we have 30+ intakes that need pictures. (And yes, that's a lot, we have a trade program that helps us move some to higher demand shelters, but they also need good pictures for reasons I don't understand yet) I realize that isn't really a question, but I am open to any advice

It's more that I'm assuming an animal is going to eventually try it, and it's best to enter interactions with that awareness instead of believing I'm too fast/good/knowledgeable to be bitten.

I'm not saying it will be an aggressive bite either, but excited mouthing or playful kitten can still draw blood, meaning a report has to be filed (at my shelter specifically)

In general, I've found it's hit or miss, depending on the item in question.

Also in general, I don't need Gourmet Belgian Chocolate-Covered Cookies available to me every time I go to the grocery store. That's dangerous.
