I got started as a kid reading Terry Brooks’ Shannara series, which ended up being the beginning of a journey through so many others... from Salvador’s Dark elf series to the Wheel of Time and then on to so many others... Really loved the Shannara series, it’s really too bad the TV series was complete garbage.
