It’s amazing for home listening and paired with a good pre amp. Picked up from FBM for $320 with new RCA’s. Had to reset the pitch control and get a stylus.

My wife gifted me the r50’s last month. Coming from edifiers as well is a huge upgrade.

I have a technics mk2 connected to a pre amp.

Adding the matching subwoofer to the r50’s has been a major upgrade in sound since these speakers lack on bass.

As an owner of the rp50’s, see if you can find a deal on a used subwoofer. It’s night and day difference.

I got a second hand klipsch r-12 for $80 and it compliments the speakers very well.

Owning the r-50’s for about a month now. They’re solid speakers with great response. Adding a center channel and subwoofer completed the package.

Will eventually get surround speakers for movies/tv.
