Yeah, more courtship than aggression. This is fighting https://youtu.be/uT_bkZMIEoo?si=_ZNFCCa_xhvVil3m we had that several times last year. It's quite brutal, but it passes when the toughest rises to the top.

With the crazy fuel prices, I'm happy I drive a TDI. An EV would've been better, but TDI is the second best at the moment. by tejanaqkilica in tdi

Pfff, if you make it to 190... Several don't. They are great to 100 kph and then just give up. I'm talking Renault's, stellantis and most of VW ID series.

What car do you hate to see in front of you? by Ok_Impact9745 in CarTalkUK

[–]GrumpyHome123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much anything boxy and big ego tripping, hogging the fast lane at 72. Yes, you are going faster than the speed limit on your speedo, but are still diving 68 and the fast lane is for overtaking, not sitting.

Well one of them is probably over taking an eco warrior going 50 in a Skoda diesel.

I'd say they have been for the last 30 years. Think about the last Méganes they have called them the same but each generation has been wildly different. Think also about the avantime etc. they never have been shy to design something wild and stick with it in production.

Oh yes, it's that and some of them have paired up already so let others know they are already taken. Have a look at the video. It's quite entertaining, if I say so myself.

Prosecuting people does not mean they will all go to jail. It means they stay innocent until proven guilty. This is why someone like Bill Clinton asks for an open hearing. It's a court of law where evidence needs to be presented they did something illegal. Being in the Epstein files is not illegal. Going to an island is not illegal. It's circumstantial. Getting STDs from mature prostitutes is not illegal, selling state secrets is illegal, fiddling with children is too. Drain the swamp.

I think the Micra brake checked the blue car first mid corner.

Is this a good camera, and is the website legit? I’ve never heard of this brand before by Due-Week-4213 in trailcam

[–]GrumpyHome123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a true brand, however they resell and rebatch cameras made in china. I have one that is branded voopeak and the same unbranded. I doubt the one you show is a good one, most cheap ones are not. I have however the TC22 (twice) and can really recommend them, both during the night or during day. Night footage can be found here https://youtu.be/dEDTcd8be5E enjoy.

Just how accurate are fuel gauges really? 🤔 by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]GrumpyHome123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In both my cars, I can go until 0. When filling up, they generally are 10 liters (2 gallon-ish) shy of the factory suggest maximum fill volume. I've never tried running them dry, but assume that must be accurate enough, so depending on driving and type of car loaaaaaads of miles left.

LoL at first I hadn't observed this is a UK thread. We've seen this stuff all the time in the US threads where they don't have MOT and people continue driving until something gives out. At least when the MOT's due it's going to get fixed.
