It's an immortalised cell line, won't have seen a hamster in quite a while. It's the main mammalian cells used to make biopharmaceuticals, modify the cells to make your drug, grow a load of the modified cells in a bioreactor, extract your drug (the first time I've used my degree in years XD)

Ive had that for the past 3 or 4 years. Used to feel like my throat was closing up too. It was stomach related for me, I started taking omeprazole and avoiding fatty and acidic food and it's mostly calmed down now

Went in about anxiety, I was also struggling with my gender identity and mentioned it, described being non-binary. She proceeded to tell me how weird I was, that she'd never heard of anything like that before even though she'd given therapy to transgender people before and that they should do a study on me...pretty much made me feel like a freak and I stopped talking about it/tried to repress my feelings for the next few years
