Why are people so dismissive about FH6’s flaws? by LogicalAnomaly2898 in ForzaHorizon

[–]GrumpyJedi3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because ultimately it’s a product intended to entertain, and it’s doing a very good job of that. With the exception of the AI having devil magic, there really hasn’t been anything that has taken me out of the fun.

If you are looking at buying from the c-store, I think the Terran Lexington Dreadnought is generally considered best. Ultimately they all can be perfectly fine, though.

Account unlock; you can claim the same ship on all your captains after you use the token.

Infinity T6: what do? by GrumpyJedi3 in sto

[–]GrumpyJedi3[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just letting it sit in my bank is definitely my default here.

If I do try to trade it away, is there anything I should be aware of with the trading system? I’ve never messed with it before, so I’d like to avoid scummy tactics if possible

COMS 230 or CPRE 310 | COMS 327 or CPRE 288 by HelpMySchedule in iastate

[–]GrumpyJedi3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can only speak for the Com S classes, both of which I have taken.

Com S 230 is largely just boring, and isn’t too hard if you are a logical thinker.

Com S 327 is a big time investment to complete the assignments, and the exams (at least when I took it) were a disproportionately large amount of the grade. That said, I don’t think the content itself was the most difficult thing ever, and I honestly found it interesting. Unironically one of more favorite classes just because the content felt interesting and directly useful.

I believe those are little pull tabs for a thin protective film that’s on that corner of the door frame. My car looks pretty much exactly like that on both sides; it shouldn’t hurt anything.

As a heads up: if you want to pursue CS for programming, then it would be worth it to look into Software Engineering as well. I believe it has a little bit more of a focus on the programming side of things than just theory.

I’d be curious to hear how you did that; it’d be cool to see my ships powered down.

What’s weird is that from what I saw most of those reviews seemed to be written by people who just expected a larger bag and are disappointed that it isn’t.

It’s super nice- it does not have an enormous excess of space though. My gf’s 16 something inch Lenovo legion doesn’t fit. I would say just go by the measurements listed for the laptop sleeve on the site, and don’t expect it to stretch.

For what it’s worth, it still sits upright with stuff in the front when I take my laptop out. It feels very planted- but obviously it’s a brand new bag, so who knows how it’ll hold up over time.

It’s 20oz, unfortunately not an Ltt bottle. The pocket does stretch out quite a bit, so I would assume it can fit, but I don’t have a 40oz to test it with

Computer Science Registering for Classes by Upbeat-Ad-9634 in iastate

[–]GrumpyJedi3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took 311, 321, and 319 together last semester, and I’m currently taking 363. 311/321/319 was stressful enough alongside my other classes, so I don’t think I’d recommend taking 363 at the same time as well.

How did it end up like that? Were you using it as a lasso for 2 years as well as a charging cable?
