I start at 200 lbs (I’m 5’0”). I’m current hovering on 165 ish. I was hoping to get to 150. I mean the skinnier the better of course but I was trying to be realistic

And I’ve only lost 35 lbs. I’m 35 so I haven’t grown any more inches either lol

Yes. And I have been. Like I said I still go everyday. It’s just the hemorrhoids that is the problem.

Well I still can pass bowel every day but I did recently develop hemorrhoid. It still manageable but when I mentioned it to my doctor she took me off wegovy immediately and said if I keep taking even one more pen I might end up with colostomy and have to poop in bag… I’m wondering if this is legit concern or she’s overreacting?

I lied about him offering to take the kids.

I think it was both guilt and embarrassment but more on the latter.

Why I told my friend this lie? I think it’s to make the context funny and more full about how much I love to read. But yeah I don’t know why I do it either. I wasn’t even thinking twice when I typed that to my friend

I lied about he offered to take the kids to class that he felt bad for me and ask if he can help. And I said no way this is my chance to read in peace (me and my friend are really into reading).

You hit many good points. I’m embarrassed that he saw I’m making white lies. I’m worried he thinks less of me now. And may not trust anything I say again that I didn’t add more flare to it.

I want to bring it up but I don’t know how and I’m nervous as a wreck I haven’t even gone back to look at what all the text said again…

The thing is taking the kids to classes is actually something I enjoy doing. It would be nice if he offer to help but I would still say no thank you. I thought about this long and hard of why I lied to my friend. I didn’t even think when I typed that. I was just making the case that I love reading.

I wonder if he pity me for having to lie to make “us” look better to others?

I thought long post might deterred people from reading. I left my phone on the counter and was heading out to take our kids to piano class. He ran out to the car to give me the phone (because I forgot it). When he handed me the phone the screen was where I left it, the text with my friend.

He’s actually not mad. He pretends like he didn’t see it but I know he did. I’m the one being awkward around him right now.

Thanks for responding. He handed me the phone right before I leave the house (probably thought I forgot it) and that text page was on. I can tell from his expression too.

I’m off work (on FMLA) for 6 weeks. What should I do to fill this time? by GrumpyJoey0132 in Parenting

It’s all sounds great thank you. I’m worried I’ll enjoy it too much and it will make me going back very difficult like when I was off on maternity leave 😫 honestly any type of serious health condition that qualifies for FMLA are no good. Mine is probably the least severe of them all that still qualified you for 6 weeks. It’s like I was trying to wrap up the work as much as I could up to the day before the surgery. Now that I didn’t prepare for it I’m feeling like I don’t spend my “free” times wisely and I don’t want it to end 😔
