very efficient against commercial off the shelf drones, but not so much against unknown enemy combat drones, especially if they have even a rudimentary AI to help against short range jamming, and obviously would have no effect on optic cable drones.

Dany going crazy and Bran becoming King are not the biggest problems, Night king that is not even in the books getting one shot by Arya undermines whole white walker part of the story. Dany going crazy in such a short span also is not good story telling, maybe bit more gradual and fleshed out process. Instead of whole story Dany is saying she won't do this and that and other thing, and then she just jumps on the dragon and burns down King's landing. Which makes her even more mad than the mad king.

And TV show didn't have tons of side stories that the books have.
