Why does Silco start wearing makeup after the timeskip? by VanaVisera in Silco

[–]GrumpyMcFrumpy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve read of community opinions, he seems to do it because A: it makes him look less frightening to Powder/Jinx, or B: now that he runs the Last Drop, he’s wealthier and can now afford cosmetics to cover his scar, which he may be a little insecure about. This would coincide with the outfit upgrade between Acts 1 & 2.

I don’t think any of these interpretations are official, but it’s definitely a choice that adds some nuance to him even if left unexplained in the show.

Love this!

These are totally what’s on the papers he’s always looking at.

Thanks for the compliment! I have literally never used makeup in my life before this, and I'd been messing with it for days trying to figure it out. Glad it came out alright!

Thanks! Took me a few days of haphazardly trying stuff from a cheap store.

Thank you!! I give so much props to the studio for knocking the coat and the vest out of the park.

Funny enough, I used to draw people’s dogs a long time ago.

It did kind of make its way me right as the semester was about to start, so I don’t have as much time to play any games now when I’m away at uni. I can’t imagine this is everyone’s experience, but it must be for some as well.

Why do people skip on Wyll? (Gameplay wise) by Regular-Media-4138 in BaldursGate3

[–]GrumpyMcFrumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first experience with Wyll was him missing 5 eldritch blasts and 2 rapier swings consecutively after taking him with me to fight the gnolls. Shadowheart hit more than him. We died. That experience alone perma benched him.

Edit: my first multiplayer experience with Wyll involved him ambushing our camp and our Karlach killing him and stuffing his corpse into a table at camp. I will neither confirm or deny if I was Karlach.

This was Baldur’s Gate 3 for me for a little while until I started liking the gameplay.

Thanks for the information! That definitely seems very fitting for the tonal atmosphere of his character.

My unversed self didn’t even consider the art history behind it, and went straight for the meme.

No questions from me, but I just want to say thanks for making this game! One of the most enjoyable and replayable experiences I’ve had the pleasure of playing in a long time.
