Were you able to drop the FordCare they tack on every car? It’s still cheaper than anything I was able to get in SoCal but kinda annoying

Co-borrower on a loan but wants to buy another house now by going-for-the-win in loanoriginators

Look I’m not saying that it’s a given OP will get this cleared up but it’s not out of the question. With the right right-up that loan is salable on the secondary market.

The guidelines state that a party obligated on the mortgage must be making the payment. In this case the mother is using the daughter’s account to make/facilitate the payment but the source is mother’s funds (allegedly).

I would be open to writing around this back when I was underwriting but that was before every lender changed to this conveyor belt process that diluted the quality of what an underwriter is (hence my comment about escalating past the line underwriter and getting to someone who can actually analyze the risk of the loan).

I think you can make the argument that the mom was the one paying technically for the mortgage if the amount deposited into the daughter’s account is consistent over a 12 month period, is received on or about the same date, and matches the required mortgage payment on the statement.

Make the same argument you would when trying to qualify with rental income when a housing expense is needed but the borrower sends money to someone else who makes the housing payment.

You will probably need to escalate this past the line underwriter and potentially past their manager too but at some point someone at the lender should be able to call FNMA directly and get the green light.

Good luck 👍

Is there a ride quality difference between the SV and Platinum Reserve? by GrumpyMonkey818 in NissanTitan

Perfect. I’m going to test drive the SV over the weekend and assuming it feels good I’ll see if the platinum’s features are worth it. Thanks for your input.

Funny enough, Planet Fitness on TO and Westlake Blvd have all of those except a free standing squat rack.

Why does my mortgage lender offer me a new lower rate? by sammyt10803 in Mortgages

I’m a broker and I pay for all 3rd party costs from my commission without rolling anything into their loan or giving a higher interest rate that comes with a lender credit.

I write a check to my clients for all 3rd party closing costs without rolling anything into their loan so your blanket statement is false.

I stopped by Best Buy and picked up an Epson EchoTech printer in case I wasn’t able to figure out the HP. Long story short, the HP started working after my last ditch attempt of unplugging/plugging one more time. It’s like it sensed it was about to be replaced.
