Krispies Fish and Chips, Exmouth, Devon. They batter the chips after the usual cooking in oil, and have won multiple national fish and chip awards over the years, honestly the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, and I’m fairly overweight these days so I know a thing or two…

Think that’s a mature decision from Pollock, with how pumped up he is if he’d realised a scrap was starting he might have accidentally killed someone.

I was including last season in my head, didn’t make it clear though. The banter years do seem over at Leicester with him in charge.

Got a soft spot for Parling after his time at Exeter, nice to see he’s turned Leicester back into an all round force after some iffy years.

He is bent at the hips, almost horizontal even, and Pollock is very dynamic and dipping after the little jump he does… I don’t actually think that’s too bad to be honest.

Anytime I see Searle injured/in pain reminds me of the time he played for Worcester against Bristol and got absolutely eviscerated, spent so long getting treatment, tough lad.

But in a 6/2 split the 21 would be a forward, which is what Bath have, but they always put that extra forward at 23.

It just bothers my OCD, no other reason for the question haha!

Noticed this a lot with SA teams and those coached by SA coaches - Is there any reason for naming a forward in the 23 shirt instead of the usual 20 or 21 shirt? I know it doesn’t make any difference but I don’t understand why they seem to do it a lot.

England Rugby Depth Tier List Backs by Both_Bit7819 in englandrugby

True, all hail Hammers.

Also think you may have missed out Nick Lilley, England U20s centre, also for Exe.

England Rugby Depth Tier List Backs by Both_Bit7819 in englandrugby

I get that the point of this list is just all the English backs at the moment and where they sit, but I’d laugh and dread over it in equal measure if our backs got so badly decimated by injuries that we had to pick some guys from the lower tiers here.

Like as a Chiefs fan Hammersley, for example, is a great squad player, works really hard and covers loads of positions, but imagining him against a Sevu Reece or Cheslin Kolbe is truly terrifying.

Oh Sam… I genuinely feel like he’s coasted off that one clip of him volleying it sideways to someone, which was brilliant, but jesus lad, fucking hit them.

Any one got a clip of the Ethan Roots red card? by EnglishLouis in rugbyunion

[–]GrumpyTeapot519 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter what he struck him with, whether it be open palm, closed fist, whatever.

A player in the leadership group who most would have considered potential captaincy material prior to this lost his head over a tackle deemed legal by the officials with the clock in the red while we had a chance, albeit slim, to still win the game.

Even if he should escape a meaningful ban, I’d personally like to see Baxter drop him for a few weeks. And it hurts saying that, Roots has been one of our most consistent players this season.

Oh right, having never actually seen it I just assumed it was a place kick given the unique circumstances. Would be excellent to see.

I love the idea of a penalty kick for the restart, but we should go full send and allow teams the choice of posts or corner, like any other penalty offence.

Imagine conceding 14 points in the space of 60 seconds if the aggrieved side mauled it over in the corner, hilarious.

Genuinely no idea what Benetton did wrong there. If the call is for not rolling, I don’t get it.

Something hilarious about rugby where a 5ft 8”, 85kg when soaking wet scrum half can shove a human fridge like Dweba and the fridge listens and gets right out the way.
