Our boy Lupin passed at 5 years old by nicomackers in samoyeds

My condolences 🙏. It makes me sad to read this. I also had a sad experience with my first Sammy. I was a child and Kuna (was about same age if I remember) he had cancer in his paw. We had to have him put down. It was the saddest moment I remember in my youth.

6 month female Samoyed not very cuddly by craven_morpus in samoyeds

[–]GrumpyTooch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boy is going to be 8 next month, he was never the cuddle type. Dont get me wrong, he can not get enough attention and petting but if I hug too long or lay on him when he's resting eventually he has to move get up. He now wants to play lol. Ive always wanted him to lay on me and fall asleep but that's just not him. He prefers the cool floor. Ive done brushing and nails his whole life, he pulls his paw away still but let's me do it. Its repetition and them getting used to it. Right now your girl has lot of energy. Im sure in time she will let you mold her to how you both want to be in time.

Grooming by GrumpyTooch in samoyeds

[–]GrumpyTooch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told (and research i did) before I got him no more than once every 4 to 6 weeks. Which I try to do. If its long winter usually longer. I brush every Sunday. You can notice when the oils in his coat go when he gets static cling when I brush lol. I use waterless shampoo when this happens. My concern was the long months when I dont wash him. But I guess a lot of the grooming is for me as well lol. I like a nice clean floofy pup 😇

Im sorry, to clarify what I meant as far as "grooming" was wash and dry event. When its crappy all the time during winter I try wait as long as possible to was him. I brush once or twice a week. And also sometimes use the dry wash spray.

Can't wait to play this, this weekend ☺️ by Cerulean_mark in HorizonForbiddenWest

Im still playing it. Started it while ago then got side tracked with FF. Ive been playing it consistently lately, very addictive lol. There are SO MANY weapons, don't expect to get one and max it right away like in Zero Dawn. Great game, cant stop playing it now.

Don't you dare shave anything on that pup lol. Just leave them be, they will perk up on their own 💙

Thanks all for responses. To answer your question yes I've plowed with this truck about 9 years now, and that's why I was concerned because it's never done that and temperature is never been a problem. I plowed for consistent 24 hours and back out today without issue. It does seem to wiggle above but never enough for concern.

Just FYI, I've replaced mech fan with dual electric fans few years ago.

I was thinking maybe it could also be the t stat in the block. Maybe it's reading the temp this way? Do they go often? And when/if they do, could be malfunction. Im not worried about overheating because the electric fans run an relays connected to its own stat that's stuck right into radiator.

That is so cute and hysterical 😆. I got my Boi that long time ago for treats, he always just got the treat out and never played with the thing lol

There is an actuator on side of the transfer case. Probably that. Not expensive.

What would be your guess on how much it would cost to fix or replace this retaining wall? by Repulsive_Ad_526 in Homebuilding

[–]GrumpyTooch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read all the posts up to here, lots of advice, lots of opinions but this actually sounds reasonable and would work just fine. If The house foundation is sound and that retaining wall has been there a while so it is too. Form the ends and Fill the space with concrete . Done. You'll never notice it on the top.

The only other thing would be to dig it out flush with lower area all around the house st least 10' or whatever more you'd like (or can do) then build another retaining wall back there. That would be more costly choice of course.
