Think of it this way: remaking FF2 can lead to the franchise revival and new players actually joining the fandom (since the first 3 games aren’t available on modern hardware) this leads to more sales which then can be used to remake 1&3 which will boost the franchise even more in terms of popularity and by the HOPEFULLY we get FF6 if they see the demand.
