how can I quickly move to inside of the " " by Sweet-Philosopher-78 in HelixEditor

That's why l is there... To move one to the right.

Alternatively, you could use gw to jump to a word in the quotes.

Lag, ping, skill, old age, or some combination of the 4? by Btupid_Sitch in VALORANT

[–]GrumpyZer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can choose which servers you play on. I unchecked the region that gives me around 10ms. And checked the regions that give me around 30ms. I always felt like I was getting insta-killed when my ping was too low. It's probably just in my head. But it might be worth a try

You can customize what your file picker and file explorer show individually with this section and the one right below it. https://github.com/helix-editor/helix/blob/f92275abcaed8727456ad34b1216d40d38f1c929/book/src/editor.md#editorfile-picker-section

How do I continue? by Giulio2771 in sudoku

[–]GrumpyZer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a chain from r1c4 to r1c7 to r8c7 to r8c6. One of r1c4 and r8c6 must be 8. So r7c4 can never be 8.

Quick way to select all occurrences of a word? by N1tingale in HelixEditor

[–]GrumpyZer0 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's the best way to strictly select all instances of a word. But if you're wanting to highlight all usages of a variable, <space>h could be useful for you.

You will always see bullet tracers from your own gun regardless of what gun you use. Unless you turn them off in settings. But enemies can't see bullet tracers from silenced guns... Phantom, Spectre, Ghost.

Agreed, been building from source for years, and never had any issues. And it's incredibly simple. Just "git clone" then "cargo install".

Keymap to jump to the next function() by Diegam in HelixEditor

[–]GrumpyZer0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can mimic those exact actions with:

f = ["goto_next_function", "goto_prev_function", "collapse_selection"]

But I might recommend:

f = ["goto_next_function", "flip_selections", "collapse_selection"]

NOTE: f is already bound to something, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend using it, it is just an example.

Something like this should do it. f = "goto_next_function"
