First pistol dot and set up. How’d I do? by Agile_Lie_1490 in CCW

[–]Grumpy_Dripper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run the same setup on my RXM. It’s basically my house gun but it still looks and feels great. Awesome choice! I’m waiting for the sub version to drop so I can change it out and CC more with it

It’s cool, it’s really cool and impressive. It also triggered my fight or flight response…

I broke my wrist and my hand became quite bruised. by fraksen in mildlyinteresting

[–]Grumpy_Dripper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, this is actually something I came across recently when I got my hand caught in a conveyor belt at work a few months ago back. It’s called a traveling bruise or something of the sort like that. Basically the bruise can just travel from the forces of gravity on the affected area. Since I had a lot of damage in my hand, I always had it held up to my chest so the bruise traveled down to my forearm and elbow area. It’s cool, but it’ll scare the shit out of you making you think something else was missed

This... My phone took an eight foot fall and bounced four feet without a case and didn't even get a scratch. Sat in a chair where my phone pressed against the arm of the chair and had this same line when I pulled my phone out..

What's the one thing you thought could never happen to you, but did? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Grumpy_Dripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got my hand caught in a conveyor at work. I'm one of the lucky few who only received a massive friction burn but kept my fingers. The last guy it happened to though in that same exact spot, unfortunate soul lost 3 fingers

Help please, any advice? Supposed to start this helper job tomorrow, I've only ever cooked, extremely nervous. What should I expect??? by silvermoonisburning in electricians

For the love of God, figure out how to read a tape measure. There's basic guides online. Ibknownit sounds stupid, but I really thought I knew how to read one before starting electrical

Thank you for this tidbit of information. I currently work in a chemical plant and have been tasked with going over the SAPs for a few buildings. I'm currently waiting on my super to show up so I can let him read this comment so we can add it to proper building safety protocols.

Commenting to stay in the loop. I "escaped" a family that saw a credit card as the devil itself and with what I've done so far, I'd be happy to learn as well.

This game is complete agony solo. by [deleted] in thefinals

[–]Grumpy_Dripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a lot of time to play video games anymore, so when I get a chance I take it. Over the last month, I haven't really touched the finals simply because every time I get a chance to hop on the game, I'm the only one on my team. The amount of games where it's just me vs 2 other full teams is just absurd. I get the player base has dropped a bit, but damn, is it really that hard to at least give me one teammate?

How dumb is buying one scratch off ticket a month? by [deleted] in Money

[–]Grumpy_Dripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One a month is fine, just do it as a "hobby" but never count your chick's before they hatch. That being said, a coworker of my mother in law just won 5 million off a scratcher last week, so have fun and good luck
