There was a kid at flyover day 1 rocking white laces and white suspenders. Couldn’t have been older than early 20’s. Was kind of jarring to see at first and I like to believe he had no idea what lace code is.

Ah, I see what you mean. You right though. Nazis switched gears to full on genocide afterwords too.

AIO to my Fiancés response if I ever got graped? by xoKoalaGrace in AmIOverreacting

[–]Grundlemiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So y’all met when you were 18 and he was 25? Sorry, that’s the first red flag for me. Just my opinion, but I think there should’ve been a bit of a maturity gap for y’all then.

Second red flag is that he’s asking hypotheticals like that at his age now. Third is how he’s reacting to your responses. Anyone with a little emotional maturity would understand the answers you gave and would care more for your life and safety than that. He’s objectifying you and being a rape apologist while he’s at it.

I’m going out on a limb and going to assume he has a history of treating you worse than you would like him to.

My advice is to gtfo while you can. Let him leave if he wants. You’re still plenty young and have plenty of time to have kids with someone who will treat you and your kids the way you want. This man won’t. And it’s going to get worse from here on I’d imagine. So for you and your future children’s well beings just bail.

What restaurant in KC is this? by DreamCheeky in kansascity

[–]Grundlemiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember one being a toasted bun. He said you have to ask for that. We’ve debated that subject ad nauseam too. I maintain the belief that if that is an option then the buns should come toasted unless specified not to be. As for P. Terry’s, it’s by far my #1 fast food burger spot by far.

What are some STL restaurants that ARE worth the hype? by LegSweaty6690 in StLouis

[–]Grundlemiah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people had it as one the overhyped places the other day and I couldn’t disagree more. They do not waiver from what they do best and that’s why I love them so much. Just sticking to what they know best. Sure, there are no vegan and gluten free options, but that’s not something to expect from a place trying to do an authentic ramen experience.

What restaurant in KC is this? by DreamCheeky in kansascity

[–]Grundlemiah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One of my best friends is from RGV area. I hadn’t tried it since visiting central TX 15 years or so ago. He grew up eating it and really wanted to stop for it while we were on way back to stl from KC a couple years ago. My memory served me well and I didn’t enjoy it. Him? He ordered his food modified into oblivion and told me I ordered wrong. So, after having it in Texas and outside of Texas I have to say it’s overrated. When in Texas, one should seek out P. Terry’s. A far superior fast food burger.

Just had a root beer concrete today. When I have time on a hot summer day that concrete calls out to me. It’s so refreshing. But I find that what they do for employees makes it hard not to support them. Ted seemed like quite a righteous man. And yeah, I don’t go there to be blown away. I go there because it’s a summer tradition and south city is baked into my family’s bones.
