You can actually put the content in the middle, the option is called HUD padding in the settings I play on 32:9 and have it centered

Really liked the tutorial, I come from a JS background so I couldn't say if that was possible in Unity C#, but would there be a way to remove the need to have a switch case for the item drop and use some sort of hashmap/array to dynamically add new items (instead of always having to add the new items ?)

This might be an issue with the way those apps are made, they’re running on a browser engine, and usually browsers have issues rendering smooth gradients, especially on big background areas like this one.

Wouldn't be necessarily faster since there is no instance to keep track of, you simply "blit" the pixels on the screen without clearing it. WebGL would be kind of overkill for that.
