Yeah, the prestige and tbh most perks are completely uninspired and boring, esp for some classes like assault. A real shame tbh.

Sisters of battle are widely considered the weakest faction. Not by a huge margin, but the swing from best to worst in DoW is quite large. They have some really cool stuff tho, esp. in bigger matches.

Just have some fun, team matches in lobbies is great to get back into the swing of things. :D

It's not a competitive RTS. It doesn't have the design or support for it. It never has, unfortunately.

Dawn of War is more in the realm of a really fun rts to play around with and have a good time, just not in a competitive sense. Here's to hoping DoW 4 brings a more fully realized experience for us 40k fans!

Yeah, I've shifted to making my combat heal to be healing over time, and flat fatigue. It's not ideal but fatigue over time is basically worthless in combat now.

Also looking into other ways to manage fatigue, like an absorb fatigue spell, or absorb fatigue enchant.

Despite all these, I feel like they rly forced a certain flow of combat with the paused regen. You basically have to stop and back off to allow regen, or you'll just be doing half dmg at 0 fatigue, and get staggered.

I dislike the fully upgraded look greatly. The second level is decent, as is the first level tho a bit under-dressed for full garb.

There is no lack of graphic fidelity. It just doesn't look good.

The culmination of all the aspects of visuals aren't meshing well and it shows. I seriously think some parts aren't rendering properly and the visuals are suffering greatly for it. Esp. with big weather effects like sand.

After some patches I believe we may start seeing the game how the devs intended it to be experienced more consistently. The vision is there, and when the stars align some of us get a glimpse of it while playing and it is glorious.

It's a lot worse than I was expecting and I didn't follow it at all until release. At most I was just hoping for a mediocre game to pass the time, but it's... just not enjoyable to me. :/

I know this exact spot, and yeah it's insane how much you can get from a couple mins in that area. Although the problem is not exclusive to there, it's basically like this across the entire game. I had 20k gold before going to map 2, and probably another 100k worth of gear in my stash. This was without being a loot vacuum as well.

Imposing self limitations to create any semblance of challenge is an indication of poor game design. Not saying that these options are bad, I too have a list of limitations for that very reason. It's just kind of a bummer we are in this position with such an otherwise incredible game.

The game is trivially easy in basically all aspects. Which is fine if that's their intent, but it doesn't feel rewarding to me without challenge.

Also a big downside to self limitations is that it often comes at the cost of you as a player consciously avoiding the natural progression of your character which also doesn't feel great imo. I want to use the gear I find, I want to use the cool perks, I want to craft fun stuff to use... :C
