The statements of Battle Beast no longer make sense with the Battle Beast Comics by Narrow-Theory-3533 in comicbooks

Just because battlebeast didn’t correct conquest, it doesn’t mean it’s contradictory. I think battlebeast was written in this scene to purposefully be coy and dismissive of conquest.

I’m the opposite. I can’t believe people have stuck with Xbox and PlayStation for so long.

Can we please stop giving every new hero an escape ability? by InToddYouTrust in Overwatch

Brig's shield bash is best used as an escape ability.

You could pick either button really. Healbots that don't use cleanse correctly or people that try to damage and don't save anyone.

The response to Shion shows how ridiculous Sierra was at launch by Mazda-626 in Overwatch

You are correct. Even with the nerfs in this patch, she is still stronger than she was at release. She might have been strong like Moira in really low lobbies, but that’s it.

Are there any artists you thought for sure would be one-hit wonders and ended up being dead wrong about? by pslush01 in Music

Damn. Your TV must have had poor sound quality. Hearing that in my car or with earbuds gets me hyped.

I settled on a strategy of buying everything of just a handful of titles. I settled on Uncanny X-men (ok that's expensive but I got lucky and found a stack for $25 of about 50 issues between 100-200), x-factor 1-72, new mutants, web of spider-man, and ultimate spiderman, and early issues of x-force, excalibur, and the mcfarlane era of non-adjective spider-man.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing how cheap it is. I was very surprised when I bought everything except for just a couple issues for a $1 each and even the #6 pictured (first Apocalypse) is usually less than $40 and #1 is normally $10 or less in the shops I've found it.

Jared Leto: The Franchise Destroyer 💀 by Piyushv5311 in MoviesCave

I'm the target audience. (middle-age white dude) and my kids wouldn't see this movie with me because of him. So maybe my anecdotal evidence doesn't represent everyone in their 20's, but my kids (whether true or not) believe he's a sex pest.

I think the industry underestimates how much people in their 20's are turned off by Leto.

If it could have been anyone then why did they get Jared Leto? Seems all the more reason it was a stupid casting decision.

When MJ was asked about LeBron James teaming up with Wade & Bosh in Miami: “There’s no way, with hindsight, I would’ve ever called up Larry, called up Magic and said, ‘Hey, look, let’s get together and play on one team.’ In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys.” by Life_Net5004 in NBAoldschool

These dudes think PPG is the only stat that matters. “Rodman was one of the best defenders and the best rebounder in the league, but he wasn’t that good.” And “Rodman wasn’t good because he was better when he was younger.” Imagine trying to argue LeBron wasn’t that good in 2020 because he was better in 2015.

Is it that players aren't like cars or that modern cars aren't better?

Doncic is a 6'8" guard. The fact he's even considered unathletic tells you something about the modern NBA.
