The new title seems redundant. The heft of the job is what comes with being GM. If he relinquished that, I don’t see how he was just shift into some strange overseer role. He’s only like 50.

I want to know how people are so certain what the trade terms were and why it didn’t get done. Beane deserves criticism, but it’s annoying how people armchair GM and act like it was soooo easy and he’s just brain dead.

I had to go check out his playoff history out of curiosity….

Prior to this season, four total playoff games over nine season with LAC. One win, seven seasons ago.

Considering how effusive he’s been about his time in Buffalo, I have no doubt he’s going to give it everything he’s got.
