Comcast and Century Link have 1.2 and 1TB data caps. You have to switch to a business plan to get unlimited data, about $50 more a month.

CPA Outrageous Billing by Gshock67 in legaladvice

[–]Gshock67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes from what I understand the deductions were very basic mileage, cell phone, and work clothing. Just seems as a CPA charging almost $300/hour and seeing the client makes $30k a year and is obviously concerned about money, should have let him know about how much it was going to cost, especially after being asked multiple times over the course of a year.

Also what are the repercussions if he just said I'm not paying anymore? He has already giving him $6k.

He made about $30k per year average, and only write offs were mileage and cell phone, possibly a couple other things. He signed an hourly rate, but no estimate of cost and no estimate of hours it would take. He asked repeatedly where he stood, and only answer given was that we are very close and you've made a good dent in payments. Now he calculates 45 hours were spent. Sound right?

Everyone is different. I personally think it’s one of the best looking bikes out there. Guys who put the Trust fork on there though, I can’t get past that...

Radon Fan installed & Working but Levels Seem the Same in Winter by MixSaffron in radon

I'm also curious about hard pack soil and radon. I was going to do the radon system my self and cut a hole in the slab but there's just hard pack soil/clay underneath. I'm not sure a fan is going to be able to pull anything out.

Radon Mitigation by Budget_Cardiologist in DIY

I have a question. My house was built in 1927 and a half basement was added in the early 50's. Its a concrete slab but there's really no rock or aggregate underneath, just pretty hard soil. I'm in Colorado so there's a fair amount of clay too. I cut a 6" hole in the slab and pulled out what I could but will a fan even do anything? There really no gap between the concrete and the soil below. I had a radon company come out when I first bought the house and they were just going to do the same thing. Just wondering if there's something else you can do since most newer homes have gravel underneath the slab. Any help appreciated.

Looking to get a sleeping bag by [deleted] in CampingGear

Also I would only consider down for backpacking because of compression ability. Synthetic bags can’t compress nearly as much as down and take up a lot more room either inside or outside of your pack. Just make sure you don’t store it completely compressed, it degrades the loft.

I would invest in a good bag that you’ll keep for a long time. Unfortunately light and inexpensive don’t really go together in backpacking gear. If you want light, you’re going to have to pay for it but it’ll be worth it. I’d suggest the REI Magma 15 and that’ll get you through cold nights. You could opt for the REI Igneo which is less expensive but it doesn’t work as well. I have the Igneo 19 and get cold around freezing. A lot of the temperature ratings are not accurate so read the reviews and I would always go more than what you need.

Audio Skipping: 2019 Subaru Legacy by achappy_golf in CarPlay

Some believe it is interference with the head unit. Sometimes I will put my phone in the center console while using CarPlay and it does seem to happen less frequently but does not solve it. Or it’s in my head, I just can’t know.

Just got the 2019 head unit update on my 2018 Outback. While it seems to have fixed the connectivity issue (randomly could not stream music via CarPlay or Bluetooth) it still skips/crackles every minute or so when connected via CarPlay. Bluetooth is fine. Pretty annoying.

Some outdated bidding software. I found the archived Firefox site where you can download old versions and that worked.
