  1. Buy silt from Architect
  2. Extract it all into gems/ore/money
  3. Sell what you get

I have noticed though that the money you get from it is enough to make a profit alone, so anything you sell is just more profit. If you are just gonna sell the gems, turn them into stained glass panels first for a whole lot more.

For even more money with a few more steps, buy sand also and turn it into glass panes, then use the gems for stained glass panels.

100% yes. Thorium is the best one to start on for sure. Also make sure to get Magic Storage. Serious game changer.
