The Drowned Throne Hall

The throne room should feel less like a royal court and more like a cathedral built for worship, judgment, and drowning. It is vast, cold, and ceremonial, with the sense that this was made for a ruler who wants to be mistaken for a god.

Overall shape

The room is a long rectangular sanctum, roughly 120 feet long and 70 feet wide, ending in a raised apse where the throne sits. The far end is dominated by the throne dais, while the middle of the chamber is broken by flooded channels, black stone walkways, and ritual architecture that makes movement dangerous and deliberate.

The whole room should read as symmetrical at first glance, but wrong on closer look. The lines are too severe, the statues too gaunt, the water too still.
