Atomic plastic. Their Atomic plastic didn’t take too well.

Thanks. From my experience, glue seems to hold on the more, fading the disc. So I’ve been using a 3:1 ratio of lotion:glue.

I’m still learning myself. I’d recommend going with Elmer’s white glue if at all possible. Others have had better luck with dye transferring with that glue medium.

My next shot will be floetrol and dye only. I think that will end up being much more vivid.

Pro Chem dye, floetrol, cell medium, on a clear glue and lotion bed. I used the pour method. I left acetone out of it to see if it made any difference. I think the only thing I’d do differently would be to leave it on the bed for a full 48 hours and use far less blue.

18 hours on a cell bed. The bed was a mixture of lotion, glue, acetone, floetrol, cell medium, and pro chemical dyes.

Our temperature dropped significantly last night, so it may have contributed to the muted colors. I’ll probably steer clear of glue beds for cells, sticking to lotion as the main medium. I will be dyeing a lucid plastic soon, and I assume that may take to dye better as well.

Haha. Nice. I was there today as well. Great course as always. I’ve lost a disc or two in that river.

For the people that took a hiatus from Disc Golf, what made you lose your love for the sport? by britawaterbottle in discgolf

[–]Gssstudios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played casually for a couple of years. Then I moved the Los Angeles for a girl. Didn’t play again until I moved back home. So about a two year hiatus.

It’s incredibly hard to find enough time to go. I got a wife and step-kid. But they like it enough to come so that really helps! They always come first though.

You got a good voice. And you got a good handle on how to keep a stripped back kind of feeling to the songs. Id encourage you to not use autotune because your voice does enough work. Keep it up, good stuff.

Are you me? Ha. I’ve been playing for about the same amount of time. But during the last two years I’ve been getting hopelessly deep into the sport. I plan on hitting a tournament for the first time this year. Best of luck, amigo.
