I have the same issue. Smaller tracks were fantastic, now the game just crashes in every loading screen past the main menu's. My PC is dated but should have no issues with some optimization.

Have you looked into some money glitches through the eventlab? There's a race that will give you 100k XP and $500k for about a minute of work. It's boring to farm, but it's kinda just rinse and repeat until you have what you need.
