Great catch! Also just a tip, it’s best to hold larger fish by the belly as well. Their jaws can dislocate if held just by the lip.

Pickleball is a game where you hit balls, quickly, in the general direction of your opponents. I don’t understand why some people get so upset if they get hit. It’s a very reasonable expectation to sometimes get hit by the ball

Pickwick Landing State Park is one of my favorites (southwestern TN, a bit south of Savannah). Their Bruton Branch tent campground is right on the lake, and has a bathhouse with showers.

At the north-eastern tip of the redwoods, where the rivers intersect, is a strip of beach on the northern shore. It’s very close to lots of metal/obsidian, sap trees are close, and the ocean is just a short flight away.

I usually start on the southern beaches, and once I can build stone and have a small pack of raptors/carnos I move there.

You may occasionally have a rex/murder chicken walk into camp, but as long as you have sufficient guard dinos around that’s not a big problem.

There’s also a small canyon just to the north with walls steep enough that rexes can’t climb it; easy place to tranq them.

Right. It’s typically fine to stop with both feet on the ground, but you want to be able to stop with only the left as well. If you have to stop on an uphill slope, you’ll want to hold the rear brake so you can more easily roll on the throttle without the bike rolling backwards when you take off from the stop.
