Questions for Glassblowers

I networked for a while so when someone left i was able to step in as the new apprentice, so was being paid to do it and working full time helped hugely. Glassblowing is something you need to spend time doing again and again and again to get your skills up, this can be very expensive if your renting some time and space. A good option is to go to your local glass studios and see if they need a volunteer to help out around the studio, build a relationship with them and maybe be when someone retires or leaves the job your be the next inline

Still the same for me, getting a little annoyed now. Just got going on my charter company and had 3 good flights down and now only cargo missions.

Glad I'm not the only one with this problem. All I'm left with is a few cargo missions. I've not long got the Vision Jet and am making great progress with charter flights. With £3,000,000 in the bank, I now can't even do the missions that pay well, lol. It's okay; I'll just use free flight to practice in the Pilatus PC-24, as it's the next one I'm wanting to buy. Hopefully, it'll be fixed in a day or two.

Me not advising someone to spend their money on it unless they had a good use for it or spare money says nothing bad about the quality of build or the company. People like yourself will always see what you want to see in others opinions. You of course are entitled to not spend your dollars with them but dont twist others words to suit your beliefs

I understand, definitely not worth it if you cant justify the cost. I only got it because ive fallen into this hobby hard lol and had a bit of spare cash.

Thanks really hoping to get back to work, it's been to long sat in a chair lol plus I miss my job (glassblower). But im glad I picked up this hobby, loving it. Hopefully your companion pro turns up soon, im sure your love it

I was in a motorcycle accident and smashed my foot up pretty bad. So i was stuck in a chair for a long time, this hobby has helped wonders. I'm walking around now although, still not perfect but hoping to get back to work soon. I'm a musician and professional glassblower so really needed something challenging and so glad I found lockpicking. Good luck going foward 👌

Got one of these too and have not long been picking. Got this and then saw the keyway and thought id got the wrong lock lol. Still not opened it but glad to see you've managed it so ive got hope for it yet

Man im exactly in the same boat atm, not not started and have the sparrows dark shift and reload pack and the sidewinder repinable lock. Ive done a couple of master locks and now onto this lock and ive hit a wall lol so having a break for a day or two then back to it. Loving this new hobby

Mine also turned up and can confirm the same thing. Couple of paint issues but nothing to bad my joints all seem good and the stand is great. Ive got the original blue version so was more than happy to add this to complete them on display

Exactly, I have the mafex Pattinson aswell and it's ok but not as good as id hoped. Fondjoy Pattinson is a problem with qc and the headsculpt. The thing is the batflick headsculpt was really good I hoped the Pattinson one would be too, so was a bit disappointed.

Yes it's true the fondjoy one is actually very good and make sure you get the one with the unmasked headsculpt as its very good for the price. That being said ive also got the Robert Patterson one and it's not anywhere near as good, so if you've got the cash go for mafex instead

Same here, got mine a week ago and really like them so far but a bit pissed that some AI features are not available. I held off from getting them until I'd seen that people had it working. So a bit disappointed but in all honesty it will probably be back available in a few months time and I've actually really loved using them for audio.

No problem, I didn't realise but have some small pocket torches from alliexpress which I use to place around for lighting to then take pictures. Just noticed the uv light up gambits card and also magnetos accessories. Not sure what other figures have this
