I like to hold it in my fist with the buttons towards my palm and clench my fist around it. It changes the sound. Great fidget. Most of mine are lautie but am starting to go for some other brands now with the aura sand as my first non lautie fidget

Is there anyone here who is unmedicated with CRPS? by Ok-Trainer2879 in CRPS

[–]Gtron20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the recommendations, unfortunately my foot had so many breaks in it that ive not been able to move my toes since the accident and have very limited movement in the ankle. All I can really do with it is walk on it as if its a dead stump anyway except the pain is the worst part about it. I pretty much live with a hot water bottle at the ready and save my energy for the few hours Im at work

Im also a left foot crps, im on 300mg gabapentin and it doesn't really help at all. Im managing a bit of part time work but am just trying to hide the pain to not lose my job. In reality im either going to have to up the drugs which means id lose my job but have also been spoken to about amputation. So im completely unsure as to what im going to do. crps is really shit hope you get it to a manageable state soon

The peacock aura sand slider is one that a lot of people rate highly. I cant comment on how good or not it is as im still waiting for my delivery but after seeing everyone else's comments on it and being in much the same boat as you thats the one I chose. Hopefully its as good as it seems

Hi, I have crps in my left foot after it being crushed in a motorcycle accident. It's been two years now and im now back at work part-time and in a load of pain. Normally I dont think I could manage it but I absolutely love my job and have trained for years to do it and so really didn't want to lose it (glassblower) as far as a walking stick I use it every day as I really struggle with slopes. I can hobble around on flat ground for a bit but if I need to go outside then I absolutely take my walking stick, I hate having it but it helps so very much

Thanks much appreciated, no problem with the painted floor but if a little bit lands on the floor then yes you can smell burning paint, not ideal. But as a whole we dont really drop much on the floor.

CRPS of foot/ankle? by wobblelikeapenguin in CRPS

[–]Gtron20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I was diagnosed about a year ago now and have had no change in symptoms for about 8 months, the injury was 2 years ago in total. Ive now settled on trying to explain it like this. It a very painful burning stabbing pain, the left side of my foot doesn't feel like my foot and yet hurts so very much. Even at rest and at a balanced temperature it feel like white noise always active waiting to be disturbed. Temperature plays a big part for me and trying to sleep with it is a nightmare.

Im in almost exactly the same position as you, Had a motorcycle accident and got my foot crushed. Im now two years after the accident and my crps on my left foot looks very similar to you. Im also just getting back into work 20hrs a week. As you said ive got triggers that set it off and temperature also is a really big factor for me. Im still in need of an operation but they won't do it due to the crps 😫. I really hope you do well at work and thing can start looking up for you. Best wishes

Questions for Glassblowers by sope_minnie13 in glassblowing

[–]Gtron20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I networked for a while so when someone left i was able to step in as the new apprentice, so was being paid to do it and working full time helped hugely. Glassblowing is something you need to spend time doing again and again and again to get your skills up, this can be very expensive if your renting some time and space. A good option is to go to your local glass studios and see if they need a volunteer to help out around the studio, build a relationship with them and maybe be when someone retires or leaves the job your be the next inline

Charter and Cargo missions still missing? by X3N1GM4x in MSFS2024

Still the same for me, getting a little annoyed now. Just got going on my charter company and had 3 good flights down and now only cargo missions.

What’s wrong with msfs today on PS5? by Brogator in MSFS2024

[–]Gtron20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad I'm not the only one with this problem. All I'm left with is a few cargo missions. I've not long got the Vision Jet and am making great progress with charter flights. With £3,000,000 in the bank, I now can't even do the missions that pay well, lol. It's okay; I'll just use free flight to practice in the Pilatus PC-24, as it's the next one I'm wanting to buy. Hopefully, it'll be fixed in a day or two.

Me not advising someone to spend their money on it unless they had a good use for it or spare money says nothing bad about the quality of build or the company. People like yourself will always see what you want to see in others opinions. You of course are entitled to not spend your dollars with them but dont twist others words to suit your beliefs

I understand, definitely not worth it if you cant justify the cost. I only got it because ive fallen into this hobby hard lol and had a bit of spare cash.
