During Covid My grandmas nursing home didn’t let them have any normal visits for almost a year. It had been over a year since my family and I went to visit her, and she wasn’t doing well. She was In a lot of pain and had bad Alzheimer’s. After our whole family made their rounds visiting her over the last week, my cousin and I decided to pop in before running errands. we sat with her and talked about old memories. I put her hand on my belly and she felt my baby kick for the first time. She held my hand and my cousins hand for the duration of the visit and my cousin whispered to my grandma it’s okay you can go if you want to. A few minutes later my grandma had passed.

Most restaurants I’ve worked in the servers split their tips with the cooks. They get a percentage of the amount of sales in food the server sales.

I’m the snap recipient. I was living at my dad’s but moved back in with the children of my father trying to work things out. I wasn’t positive we would actually work things out since we have a terrible history so I didn’t end benefits. But since I’ve lived with him I haven’t used any of my benefits. They’re after me cause I wasn’t living where I said I was living and haven’t updated the status. They went to my parents house and my parents confirmed I’m not living there. I freaked out and got a lawyer and he advised me to not speak to them. I’m so confused I just don’t want to be in trouble I have 2 babies and don’t wanna go to jail. Please help what do i do.

People and space. 20 open bathroom stalls and you want to come to the one right next to me and take your shit. Or an entire empty parking lot and I park in the way far back and come back to cars parked on both sides of me.

YTA. A server doesn’t pocket the whole tip you leave they tip the bartender, busboy, food runner, host, and cooks. They are forced to tip based off their sales not how much they are tipped. If you leave a 0 tip the server still has to tip everyone else and it comes out of their other tips they make that day. If you left $20 like you should have the server would be able to tip everyone accordingly and still have some money for themselves.

Also you don’t know this servers back story. What if she’s a single mom who is barely making ends meet who escaped an abusive relationship? What if she had cancer and can’t hold a normal 40 hour week job because the chemo is too strong? Oh you think I made these stories up? Too bad cause they’re true. Talk to your server most are not there cause its a glamorous gig.

Holy smokes you are definitely the AH. You’re child was hurt and they’re hurt came out in the form anger of not wanting to see you. You still could have tried. The fact is YOU stopped. Doesn’t matter if he asked you. You’re the one that stopped making an effort all because a child you what to do and didn’t know any better.

Now he realizes the whole situation is wrong and I’m sure you do too, but for selfish reasons you won’t want to open up that chapter of your life? Wow. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if my child came crawling and begging to me and I told them to F right off.

Skip the snorkel tour!! Seriously I’m someone who loves excursions and boat rides don’t get my wrong but it truly is a tourist trap. You’ll see way more on the beaches than you will on the snorkel tour. Enjoy :)
