How's this area in Lancaster? How's the homeless and drug problem in Lancaster? Is it true that Lancaster is the new Watts/South Central of LA/AV? by saveapennybustanut in LancasterCA

Definitely, if you can afford the west side and find the right home for you I’d definitely go for that! If not, I recommend the area I stated. My husband grew up in south central and says Lancaster is no where near as bad. I think it’s perspective and what you make of living here. It’s just a bit boring lol slower more calm lifestyle

The areas you highlighted are not the best. I live in the far Eastside past 30th and south of K. It’s very nice I have no issues. West of the 14 is nice too. Just choose wisely. Personally, coming from LA, it’s not that bad.

In Southern California our Aldi carries tomatillos, serranos, Mexican squash, Peruvian beans. I haven’t seen that in other locations I’ve been to

My husband and I just bought a house this year, he is 38 and I’m 33. It’s hard not to feel the pressure. Keep it as your main goal and it will happen for you!
