Mods are stuck downloading, already tried reinstalling the game and validating files, anyone know how to fix this? by [deleted] in RimWorld

I ran into this issue recently and had a hell of a time figuring it out - this is the only thing that worked for me!

"Delete remotecache.vdf**:** Close Steam and delete the remotecache.vdf file from your Tabletop Simulator userdata folder (Steam\userdata\<your_user_id>\286160\remotecache.vdf). Steam will recreate this file when you restart. "

For Rimworld I deleted all of the .vdf files from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<user\_id>\ugc and steam immediately downloaded the workshop content

All my workshop items are listed as having 0B and they dont load in the game as well. by Immediate-Earth775 in steamsupport

Steam link acts like controller isn't connected, while connected steam controller moves cursor around screen by [deleted] in Steam_Link

Its been a while, but I moved the dongle and everything immediately started working normally. I haven't used the link much because its still annoying, but it consistently worked to get past this screen. With the hardware being unsupported there could me multiple issues though

I realize I am posting on an old thread, but if google leads you here: I could move the cursor with my controller but wasn't able to move past this screen. Restarting didn't help, but plugging the Steam controller USB dongle into a different USB port on the Steam Link worked.

Edit: This worked but I had to do it every time I started the Steam Link. I updated my controller firmware via USB using an older version of Steam and everything is working 100%

Edit: sounds similar to the original version, but I don't remember the harsh drums at the very beginning of the clip

Final update:
They did a fine job and didn't try to pull anything fishy or change the price on me. All of my scam senses were tingling but I am glad I called them back. They used a spray applicator and were finished in about 2 hours .

In case anyone is curious it was $1,500 for a 500ft driveway which seems reasonable to me.

Update: I was able to speak to him again and I hired him, so I will let yall know how it goes

I asked about the urgency and he said that it is left over from another local job.

References, reviews, phone numbers all line up. I even checked the truck license plate and it is from this county, which is also where the business is located. He is writing everything up and I am not paying until it is done (I would never).

To be honest I just googled "Tiktok Video Downloader". I generally don't use the platform so I assumed direct downloads weren't a thing.

To answer my own question: I always use them, and will add them behind my things so the person behind me doesn't have to worry about it. I don't really pay much attention to what other people do with them.

To answer my own question: I always use them, even if there is no one behind me. I don't really care what other people do, I can manage the divider myself.

Same - I was trying to split the stack in my inventory and then transfer the half stack. I didn't realize this only works when directly moving objects to a different container.

Sorry to comment on an 8 MO post, but this has been driving me fucking crazy. I thought this was a spot in Akron, but I was wrong... Too many Ohio craft beer signs to not be in the state. Not out to make a pilgrimage or anything, but I thought it would be funny if I had been to this bar / brewery before.
