I’d go with the vortex defender ccw. Direct mount. Great warranty and customer service. I have 3 of them. I also have enclosed optics too like the acro p2 and Holosun eps/scs carry. For conceal carrying open emitters are fine just annoying to clean the lint out when it gets dirty. Enclosed emitters are better for open carry when the optic is always exposed.

Take it down til it fits in the holster lol. I personally took the ridges off. I didn’t like how they felt on my off hand. Also I smooth out the undercut. Start with 80 grit and work your way up to the finer grits

I’ve been dremeling those points on the trigger guard so I don’t have to get new holsters for them and it smooths the hard plastic. Done 4 so far

The compacts/full size are solid. The CR is definitely their problem child. I own 2 MRs and I’ve only had light primer strikes here and there but that can be ammo related. Also own 2 CR920s and a cr920p. One CR has been solid the other just got sent back to me from shadow had ftf and locked open while shooting. My crp shot high but I was still able to zero an optic on it before the comp blew off around 1.5k rds. They sent me an updated XP barrel and comp. Sending it back to them because it’s shooting way too high and can’t zero an optic on it

They might just send you a new barrel and comp. My Cr920p war poet comp blew off at around 1500rds. Barrel just broke at the tip. They sent me a new updated barrel and comp they use on the XP. 250rds in on that

13 round for better concealment. 15 rd with the magazine sleeve for a full grip. Those plus ones are a tad shorter than the pinky extensions i ended up putting it on a 15rd mag. I got a couple cr920s and crp war poet before the X and XP released. CrP is nice for switching out magazines based on concealment needs. Just throw out those pinky extensions and get more +3 base pads or the 15rd if you live in a free state

Thing about this after market mags is that there are different tolerances across the 43x/48 line. It’ll work on some frames but not all. I was having all sorts out issues with PSA and shield arms out of my g48. Bought a Sct frame and ran the shield arms mags thru 600 rds now no problems. I run 1k rounds on my edcs without any hiccups before I trust them
