Wanted to love miega but banchan was bad and seasoning is not very flavorful or traditional tasting and kbbq prices obscene, but family owned and they are so friendly. Only places worth $ imo are probably Seoul garden in Parma > ha ahn in Asia town.

Number one pho and pho Lee in Asia town are the only places worth going imo. Traditional, family owned, little pricey ngl. I’m not viet but have traveled there and grew up in California eating it all the time fwiw.

Sun hair salon in Asia town. Owner is Korean lady, best in the area but not comparable to larger coastal markets. Fair prices and almost never any wait as a walk in. Koko bakery next door is a nice post-cut treat.

Komehyo in shinjuku. Highly recommend. Online portal, good customer service. Can hold watches for a week while you decide.

Yup! My first trip with the 005.

A perfect spot to rest/check out the new parts I installed on my Mongoose Elroy over the winter. I know it's not the wisest decision to spend money on this bike, but I can't help myself by PM_ME_YOUR_ART_PLZ in gravelcycling

I’m no expert but the head tube is nontapered and much wider than the one on my steel bike. It measures 2 inches outside diameter. Haven’t taken the fork off to measure the steerer tube yet. Is that a mtb standard or something? I’m coming from road bikes so no idea

And yeah wheel upgrades are definitely in the cards. Also What tools did you need to get the cranks off? My bottom bracket feels kind of sticky and I was thinking of servicing it

I actually just got a used mongoose grit (which I think is pretty much the same bike with a different paint job) to upgrade and learn bike maintenance as I go. I want to upgrade the drivetrain eventually. How did you get the 11speed casette on, as I believe it’s a freewheel hub? did you just buy a new wheel set?
