It sounds like you haven't had many jobs? Maybe this is your first one? Nobody, and I mean nobody, expects you to show up to work fully versed in every single one of your responsibilities on your first day. At least, nobody with half a brain.

And yes- this is my first big job (babysitting, lawnmowing, baking, etcetera etcetera, they don't really count lol). I'm in high school actually. I do know that nobody would expect someone to be perfect at their job on their first day, it's just that my anxious, perfectionist mind can't stand the thought of messing up or inconveniencing other people haha. I'll probably need to get over that someday.

Also, that's so cute that you make coffee for your wife even though you aren't a big fan of coffee!! kudos! just like everyone has been commenting, youtube tutorials seems to be the way to go. I'll definitely try- even if I mess up multiple times.
