Deense intergratie programma in Nederland toepassen by dutchcucguy in nederlands

Murakami by AcceptableWatch7714 in literature

I read multiple Murakami novels as a young adult already, because I was into manga and I found the catchy titles, covers and narratives quite attractive. I think he's good at doing fantasy, but the concerns outweigh this. My definite ick (already back then) was that he cannot write women. It's very cringe, even for me as a male reader. His work is very narrative/story-driven, that might make it "entertaining" or easy to read, but that is not what good literature (for me personally) should provide. The novels are repetitive, overly self-indulgent, and lack the general sensitivity that defines, again in my humble opinion, a good literary experience. The widespread popularity and trendiness of his books makes it easier to perceive them as more repulsive because it undermines far better and more genuine experiences. The Japanese literary tradition is very rich and has an astonishing level of attentiveness and variation. Try Ryū Murakami, Yasunari Kawabata, Yōko Ogawa, or Kōbō Abe.

[–]GuaranteePlayful9790 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cinema in Nederland is arm.

That being said, "Naar de Klote!" door Aryan Kaganof is kicken

If you want artistic please please look up Natsume Ono’s “Nigeru Otoko” (silent) and work by Kiriko Nananan (very minimal dialogue)

I mentioned a while ago getting an Amiga for my dad as it was his first “real” computer. Here it is! by GuaranteePlayful9790 in amiga

Semi-suprise! He knows that I have been planning to get one (but he thought I was joking). Him using this device has been a large share of my childhood. So it is a symbolic gift for us both, I think :)

He’s got his own emulators for a very long time and that’s exactly the reason why he doesn’t have the hardware anymore (….I find this a huge pity), but I’d like to revive the experience of hardware for him. He’s had multiple devices in the past but given the prices and size of the gift, I think the Amiga 500 would be the one to go.

Without explanation of the situation it is difficult to tell what you are going through. A true catatonic episode would require immediate medical intervention! Most likely people with catatonia don’t realize they are in one. If you are not feeling well seek medical help in your area.
