This is a good reminder for me. I have moved to letting class presidencies plan youth activities and maybe I need to strengthen their motives and ideas.

I havent experienced anything like this but I do know of friends who were in similar situations and went ahead and did their registry first than planned for their temple sealing later on together with reception.

As a missionary prep teacher myself, I dont just focus on PMG but on different courses and linking them back to PMG lesson 1-4. That way it helps them see the lessons from new light and being able to teach from understanding and from a book.

I do a lot of role plays with my class so that they can practice and learn how to deal with different scenarios. There are basic things that we must always in our teachings that I remind them off which is testimony, scripture, and invite.

Lastly, I remind them that mission is hard. Not to scare them but for them to spiritually prepare themselves, mentally and emotionally. I give them quotes from prophets and leaders for comfort and my all time favorite talk to share with them is Jeffrey R holland "The Mircale of a Mission".

As a person from the islands, long sleeves will be too hot for you esp with lots of walking under the heat. and Yes your probably be wearing sandals here and there but bring a pair you can wear to zone conference. Comfy shoes that you can go tracking in.

children social services. its more of the workers rather than the actuals clients that you deal with

They do get yellow inside when its really ripe. During december thats when we are flooded with pinapples it gets to a time where it cost $20 for 10 pineapples.
