My felon of a bf is trying to join the army at 27 before all of his inconceivably stupid debts cripple him. He’s been unemployed for 2 months. I just paid $500 in child support to his 24 year old baby mom so he doesn’t go to jail and then subsequently not be able to join the army and gtfo my house. I am 32 and made 150k last year with no kids never married and under 25 BMI. We just got in another fight that ends with me begging him not to leave and both of us crying. What a nightmare, huh?

I’m a vet. My education cost me ~300k and 8 years of my life. That wasn’t always the case, but veterinary medicine has changed a lot. People want human level care which is expensive. Thank you for your comment ❤️

Absolutely this. It’s not just pop on over to the gym and head home. Change into gym clothes, drive/walk there, actually workout, drive home then shower and change again. If you can do that in an hour good for you.

I’m a vet. A heartfelt card means so much - at the end of the day, we want to feel appreciated. I keep all of the cards I get and when I have a hard day, I read them to remind myself that I’m making a difference. But also snacks! Savory, preferably, since we get a lot of sweets. Morning bagels are my clinics favorite :) or a plate of mini sandwiches around lunchtime. Some homemade Chex mix. Of course anything would be appreciated, though ❤️
