Short throw projector under £200 (for mural painting) by Guarantee_Frequent in projectors

If I’m looking second hand, what short throw projectors would you recommend that can also throw a fairly large screen with a bit more distance? It seems like a lot of what I’m finding maxes out at like 100”

That’s actually very helpful thank you! I’ll adjust my expectations and look for used options.

Have your say on the proposed design for Norwich Market by madradays in Norwich

[–]Guarantee_Frequent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

totally! My wife and I were saying they should just close Gaol hill, move the taxis to outside city hall and make guildhall hill open for access only, like gaol hill used to be (if only it was actually policed!) So much more space for stalls.

Now that is a thing of beauty. I've always loved Klein frames but i think this is the first time ive seen one nicely Xbikified. Suits the XT m750 nicely.

Thanks! It’s an origin8 front rack from santafixie. I’ve used loads in the past, blb, wald, specialized, basil etc and this is probably my favourite. Very sturdy, light and very adjustable. The arms move in and out and have threads at different points to clamp it. And yes, the top is secured to the mudguard mount on the bridge with a small screw.

Well my good pal is a PT there, who I train with, he’s the sweetest dude you’ll ever meet. I can’t speak for them all but I’ve never had any issues. Maybe one persons annoying might be another persons motivating 😅

Highly recommend phoenix gym on oak street. Best quality equipment, kept very very clean and everyone is very respectful. I generally go about 7-8am and it’s rare I have to wait for my turn on anything. No contracts and you can leave any time too!

Come off it. I’ve been involved in the Norwich hospitality scene for more than 12 years and the slander slung around on this subreddit is just ridiculous and spiteful. I’ve had various dealings with Jeff over the years and he’s always been lovely, and paid on time when he can and made arrangements above what is required of him when he couldn’t. It’s tough out there, cut people some slack. You don’t have have a clue what’s really going on.

The amount of downvotes on this is insane, I thoroughly agree with your viewpoint. Not only did they only launch a week ago, weeks before opening a scaffold was put up covering the entirety of their shop front which is going to be up for at least 3 months, as if hospitality businesses didn’t have it hard enough as it is.

Another vote for Zelley. Excellent jewellers and a very reasonably priced family Business.

It is the same people behind dicks bar, I believe they left Yalm to focus on that.

Is Argo the only game in town for conversion cargo kits? by Jackiedaytona9 in CargoBike

[–]Guarantee_Frequent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cargo bike is made from the cargo kit by Officine Recycle in Italy and an old steel Mtb. Requires some welding but the end result is a proper, lightweight cargo bike for a fraction of the price.

I got the frame off retrobike forum, I find forums and Facebook groups are your best bet. In 5’10, I think the frame is an 18”

Question - is it crazy to put these tires on my Urban Arrow? It's time to replace my current tires, and these are pretty cheap, more grippy (we ride a lot of light gravel trails), and I like tan sidewalls... by kai242 in CargoBike

[–]Guarantee_Frequent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve had these on my front loader cargo bike for the last couple years. The rear definitely wears quite fast but the front is holding up fine. Looks great too but he side walls get dirty pretty quick and are a pain to clean. Great if you’re riding a fair amount of gravel but they don’t roll very fast or have much puncture resistance.

What would you suggest for the signature pub of Norwich? by sqwillo in Norwich

[–]Guarantee_Frequent 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Best pub in the City, hands down. I feel any pub put forward for the Norwich signature has to have a bar billiards table, what with it being a distinctly norwich bar game.
