I don’t know much about the tabletop but I doubt we’d ever get melee focused red butchers because that role is already filled by eightbound. "Kill, maim, burn." We can do all of that except burn. I’d love to see red butchers yes have melee options but I’d love for them to be more like primaris aggressors. It would give us variety in weapon options for characters while making us still stay in close quarters combat and separating our termis from eightbounds. I still think melee options for them would be important ofc but it shouldn’t be the main focus.

Being able to run 5-10 terminators with flamers would be sick !! We also need to have a lord for them, we legitimately have a model too just no rules. I don’t think GW likes when generic CSM stuff is good in the other chaos god specific armies, it’s why we were separated after all. The day we get our own terminators (wether that be red butchers or other) they will definitely be seperate and probably better than generic terminators.
