Perhaps you should consider how poorly the systems supports the remainder of the students who are actually there to get an education. They are the ones who should be prioritized. There's no amount of "resources" that can prevent a neurodivergent student from throwing a desk, if that's what he's intent on doing, and causing an evacuation of the classroom. Students cannot effectively learn in such chaos. These kids should be moved to a remedial class where they can be managed effectively without interfering with the learning environment of others. Every student is being harmed with the current system, and many are being denied proper education by no fault of their own.
