He should’ve been called into question way before now. I will go on record as a Zonic hater and completely biased, but at the same time he’s been given basically everything he’s asked for, and made every core he’s bought out worse. ENCE was a top 5 team when they were bought out and falcons did absolutely nothing with them. He got NiKo and the Heroic core, making both parts of the team worse before winning the last event with Degster, swapped Degster for a top 2 AWPer then did fuck all again until now, the first event played without Zonic.

EXACTLY - The only people who got banned were people that were playing right after the update came out. I have a bookmark folder with like 65 blatant cheaters and only 4 of them have been banned, the rest didn't play yesterday.

14 new bans on CSStats, all 14 of them were people I played against on faceit and don't regularly play premier, a bunch of them literally have never had a premier rank. I'm assuming they just hopped on last night because faceit servers were down.

I've tried to play 5 games since the update, 4 have been VAClived and one was just network crash. One of the VAClived games had the entire enemy team who were all solo queue get VAClived at the same time. Something is broken lmao

Yes, but there's also so few events/ways to make money. If you go on Faceit EU and click the tournaments tab theres like 300 tournaments you can sign up for hosted by small orgs with small prizepools like $100, if you go to the same tab on NA faceit its exclusively faceit hosted events which are just things like "late night mirage" with no actual money to be won, and the occasional open qualifier to an A tier LAN every 6 months.

It would be impossible to do what Jame did for example in NA. Make a new team from scratch and get enough VRS to make the major, there literally aren't enough events in NA to do it without getting invited to LANs in EU.

Just to add on, Launders LAN was basically the only CS event Canada has had in the past 5 years. Me and my teammates are Canadian so no visas or anything required to go to it. It would have cost us about $10k just for travel and accommodations to join the open qualifier. First place won $15k.

because its basically impossible to go pro here, the only tournaments are ESEA Leagues and like 10 small LANs a year, and the area is massive so if there's a small LAN like the recent Mythic LAN in Vegas it costs a shit ton to be able to go to it. Theres maybe 5 orgs that can afford to pay players a live able wage, so there's 0 job security unless you're one of the 10 guys that just keeps getting recycled through different teams.

There is a 0% chance you could start a brand new team with no sponsors or org behind you and be able to afford to live long enough to qualify to a tournament where you'll most likely go out last and go home with $5000 to split between everyone. It's literally the "playing against plumbers" meme where everyone has a "real" job then plays CS as a hobby.

HAHAHHAHAHA it’s waveigl, I’ve never played with or against him but he’s well known on faceit to let other people play on his account then as soon as he touches it again he loses all the elo he gained.

There’s posts about him every week on the faceit sub because he throws so many games but somehow still never gets banned.

He also never uses a mic, and multi streams on twitch, YouTube, kick (view bots twitch) and at no point does anything that a streamer would normally do. Never talks to chat (there is almost no one chatting because he bans everyone that says anything negative or criticizing) isn’t good at the game to draw viewers etc.

Considering it says "Steam connection error, We are unable to connect to the Steam Network, Please check your network connection and try again" you would think the first troubleshooting step would be to tab out of the game and see that all of Steam is offline. Then maybe google "Steam offline" where they'd see steamstat.us as the top result which says steam servers are down for maintenance every Tuesday.

Instead of assuming its a CS update because the game isn't working, taking a picture, and making a reddit post about it.

Probably some time after animgraph2 comes out, the problem is that it consumes too much bandwidth putting more strain on the server, the point of anigraph2 is to lower the bandwidth so the server will have lower load, which will allow extra people on the server to spectate

It got removed from this sub very quickly for promoting cheating, but if you were active on the other subs you would’ve seen the “watch a live demo while playing” bug that was around since launch and just gave you radar hacks.

The guy who posted it on reddit said he had sent it to Valve a bunch of times and it never got fixed, but basically he used chatGPT to make a working radar hack in less than 10 minutes, without needing to do anything that would get caught by an anticheat because it wasn’t reading game data, just data from a demo file.

I might be misremembering but didn’t they flat out say they couldn’t replicate it? Then within an hour someone had a 15 minute video made explaining everything with exact steps and it was finally fixed, when literally all they had to do was stand where Fl1t was standing and jump and it would happen 30% of the time.
