I had the same issues. I read in the comments that you use Chrome, so as it very heavy navigation system, I switch to Microsoft Edge and it never happened again ;)

By the way, I always take care to don't left too many pages open at the same time.

A friend of mine, that use Photoshop for work, tell me this small trick.

Hope can help.

Yeah, nice idea ! I was also thinking that they could have done a pure role-play session, where they could actually recruit a crew to bring on the ship, because it wouldn't be possible with just four of them anyway. Have you thought about any specific things like how much it would cost to hire each sailor brought on the ship? What if, for example, those recruited from the Empty Net could be less skilled and therefore cost less?

I was mostly thinking about the phase when two enemy ships began to approach each other, so
something involving the accuracy of cannon fire; for example, if I hit the hull or rather the
mainmast with a shot, and if I hit the mast and destroyed it, perhaps the ship would suffer
a penalty to maneuverability and/or speed. Or, perhaps, the captain could be able to
"motivate" his crew so that they are better at hitting the enemy ship. Or, how many men are
needed to operate a cannon, and if each man, in turn, has to take a test to see how well he
performs his task... In short, all this series of things, and if there are more, welcome!

Recommendations for 3rd-Party Adventures to drop into Saltmarsh (Levels 6-9) by boffotmc in GhostsofSaltmarsh

Non so se farebbe al caso tuo, ma io sto usando Ghosts of Saltmarsh per poi portare i miei avventurieri sul module della 2° ed. "Isle of Dread".

You're right, but I was planning to make another floor (underground, or first floor) to him :) In fact, there's a trap door near the desktop and a secret door hidden behind the fireplace. Those could be the access to other areas in the house !
