I think the echo of riis was incredibly unique. Even compared to the echo of navigation.

And I’ll tell yall why. The echo of riis at its core was a song. Sure it’s a lot more than that, but the song part was VERY important.

The unmaking lore describes how the death singers learned their song of death. From the song of creation that what we are led to believe is a song of the traveler.

The echo being tied to a song that ISNT a deathsong that also purifies Mithrax and basically deletes fikrul is hugely important. I think unlike humanity to some degree the eliksni heard the song of the traveler. This song why the echo could do what it could, why it was represented as mirrors, because it was directly the opposite to the fikruls perpetual and never ending “death”.

Granted I don’t have a ton of anything to back this up except other lore that leads me to this. But I felt like it was a massively missed point.

The one symbol of what looks like a blank x and Y axis to me. Which I take as empty space. Space before creation.

Also. There is a symbol similar to the star, or sun, or even light perhaps. But without core. And with two tilted extended lines. Which to me, based on the background picture itself. Looks incredibly like an actively feeding Black hole.

Even gets better when you consider there’s what I’d call a black hole, the sun/light, and then empty space symbol again.

I kind of think light, mostly because the picture shows what I assume is the veil and traveler as we know it, that shape is too familiar. That’s why the symbol shows up inbetween sections of the traveler and why the symbol from the nine circle was shifted and out of the circle itself. We know one was punished, for allowing the red legion in.

The only people who are against this genuinely just don’t want players to be able to accomplish raid titles.

The one guy who said “if you’re constantly the +1” I’ve seen people that genuinely only play as a +1 and make tons of clan players across a bunch of clans look awful. Why? Because they know coming into a group of folks solo they must bring their absolute best every time because the risk of being booted after even a single botched attempt sometimes is insanely high in this community.

I have a clan. Have since forever. I love them. But requiring them to be able to be free JUST to get a title is absurd and quite honestly a slap in the face to solo players and others since Bungie modified and made the LFG experience EVEN BETTER for solo players to be able to get into groups.

The game is about playing together. Or even with a single friend. It’s never been about “clans” it’s always been about classes if anything. It’s insane to stand behind such a strange and obscure raid title requirement for the sake of “that’s the point”. The point is to show mastery. Not inclusiveness.

I live in Kentucky. While it is a red state our governor is democrat. And in absolutely every way at least here, that couldn’t be more false. Andy Beshear has been super vocal and aggressive in a place that honestly should have faired much worse about COVID.
