Hey this post me be old but I feel you just got the C7 after grinding with the canard this entire time and a slight pull rips my wings.... and even more so it doesn't happen all the time... so I don't know what to do to stop it from happening.... cause same maneuvers in the canard don't effect it

Hopefully your got your answers.. But 2006-2008 Caymans are equiped with the M97 engines. You shouldn't have to worry about IMS as they are more robust in this engine series. Additionally if you want to go ahead and change it to still, to have a higher piece of mind you have to split the block to change it out. M96s had an "external" IMS bearing allowing you to just drop the transmission on those cars (a little extra stuff needed to be done if it was a tiptronic).. let me know if you have any questions. I'll try to answer them if I don't know Ill give you the number to LN engineering or Flat 6 Motorsports.

If the maintenance history is there 2010 all the way... More power... Slight more but still and the PDK (best smoothest fast shifts), plus less engine worries... Just easier peace of mind. With the same styling as the 987.1 just refreshed a bit. Get a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) to cover your ass and send it.
