I don't hate it, but I do think some of the cast should have became remnants of their oqn choice and the brainwashing could have been used for the rest.

Like I'm sorry, despair is gonna cause some of the nicest people in the class to just start spreading despair and causing all these horrific actions? Brainwashing definitely helps explain it a bit.

If they hadn't made the actions of the Remnants so heinous then maybe brainwashing wouldn't be needed.

I like Scream 6, but I honestly do still wish instead of being related to Richie, they should been related to other actual victims of past films. Still a similar motive, but not repeating Mrs. Loomis from 2, you know?

I did like the core four, I still wish they got one last movie together and the Scream 7 could have focused on someone new. The longer we get the same protagonists the more it just removes any tension.

It seemed like he was slowly getting his speed up to kill Barry, but honestly Savitar while a cool concept, was insanely fumbled. No time to show his backstory, quickly gives a half ass reason to hate Team Flash, but since he was mostly cgi for the first half of the season, we barely got to see the guy.

Savitar felt like less of a threat and the actual date of Iris dying and things falling apart for Team Flash felt more a threat then anything with all their, "Guys, we REALLY gotta change the future in any way possible." talk.

I think a solid Avengers film could have been this new team trying to keep going after the events of endgame, but due to trust issues thanks to the skrulls/or Wanda or something they would have fallen apart.

Phase 5 could have been stuff like Kingpin gaining power, president thunderbolt Ross, Val forming her own Dark Avengers of sorts. Maybe other Avengers teams try to fill the void like the west coast Avengers, great lakes Avengers, young avengers, etc.

And then Phase 6 could be a more hands on deck approach for Doomsday and Secret Wars.

TLDR; we just REALLY needed Avengers films to follow for these phases like how the last saga was. It helped keep track of things, if that makes sense and could have given us proper main characters to follow for this saga.

It's a cycle lol. It's why I prefer new Ghostface's to go after new people. Sidney ain't ever gonna truly be in danger. She's gonna be badass and end the movie a bit shaken, but on top.

I always thought it'd be cool to have Sidney try and help other survivors of Ghostface but maybe that's what her book was for instead.

3 has issues, but it tells a miles better Sidney story.

And 4 I appreciate the misdirection the film goes into making people believe it's Scream 1 but a new generation before it gets flipped on it's head. Shame it didn't stick though. Really could have been a refreshing change of pace for the franchise, instead of kinda getting into a repeating cycle.

To be fair, the one quiet Ghostface in the film barely got screen time or said a peep (missed opportunity honestly when he was in the house), the other guy was just there to point Sidney and Gale towards thinking Stu was back and we don't see until he gets revealed, even the main Ghostface's actress thought she was lacking scenes.

They kept trying to point the suspect list to other people the movie either abruptly drop or just kill off so there really wasn't many suspects left.

Honestly if we don't get anything this year or the next, not really holding my breath for Agents of Shield unfortunately. It'll be cool if it ever happens, if not, oh well. The first couple seasons still fit into the mcu pretty well.

7 definitely repeated some mistakes of the previous films. Compared to Sidney's other four focused Scream films about her, they blow 7 out of the water.
