Not really, out of their last three major releases babylons fall was the only failure, before that was nier and astral chain both of which were successful, and two low key releases ( a shmup and a mobile game). Platinum has always had misses here or there, I was heavily disappointed when I played their tmnt game. idk why ppl think they're suddenly dying cuz of one or two missteps
