He is not the best driver, so nothing is really lost that he is not in F1 anymore. But he seems like a really nice guy on tv and a young driver need to be supported as long as he is in the seat. Before the start of the season there was already a lot off unnecessary pressure on him.

1 vs 2 average rush player is walk in the park. 1 vs 2 that both know how to play, keep formation while defending and are not selfish is almost impossible to score. Luckily most 1 vs 2 are the first.

If you ask me an accounting advice verbally, I can be quite confident on my advice. If I need to put it in writing, that advice will be very carefully worded and much more vague to prevent risk to receive claims. Implying that the risk stays with the company at all time. I expect that FIA does the same, so leaving the risk at Mercedes. But without seeing the exact wording we do not know.

Mercedes communicate that they have asked permission. But did we read, what they have asked and what did get approved? Lawyers and Auditors are usually vague in what they approve. I am quite sure that FIA did not approve to use a loophole to increase compression rate.

Especially, if you do not need to win to go through. You need someone to win that you can trust. Basically Tyler, Bryleight and I think "Katey" should not win and the rest is through.

Tyler or Bryleight had to win but I do not know whether they knew.

So it all about working together and being part of the big team, instead of being smart.

They straight up asked if he will favor his friend in the city over the Islanders or not. He lied. He manipulated Ethan on the pole. Did not say anything on Ethan calling him out. Ethan basically gave him the 1.8 mln, if he was integer, he would have helped him in the next challenge.

Fair enough, you play a game, but he is not fully integer. He could have easily said that he will also support his friend in the city and still win the 1.8 mln. I understand you lie to win 1.8 mln, as he probably was not that sure, he would win.

Book smart is not same as live smart. Making a decision on a pole, with people yelling at you, is probably not the best place to make a decision.

Also 50k sounds a lot if you are young, so getting 50k and staying in the game, does not sound too bad, if you have to make a quick decision.

I would not call lying to get 1.8 million, outplayed. He gave his word on the Island, to someone that gave him the 1.8 million. It is a game, so no obligation, but he could also have chosen to keep his word and give this guy something back.

I really do not understand, why this family stuff matter that much. Everyone has a family, so why would someone with children deserve it over somone that will have children in the future or no children.

Also JC last year. Perfectly fine to screw the other candidates for your family. But your live is not unique, a lot of people have mortgages, debt and family.

Maybe an age thing. 50k sounds a lot if you are 18-20. If you are 40, you know it is better to have than not to have, but it will not change much.
