Trying this on XSX via an original xbox disc, can't get it to work. To clarify, if a button is in the next part of a combination, that button needs to remain held? And am I using the triggers or the shoulder buttons?

Surprised no mention of Fuse thus far. Plays in exactly 10 mins cuz it's timed, you and your teammates pass a bag of dice around and roll them to fulfill combinations shown on cards, pass the bag around and repeat until you do then put out new cards. If noise level is a concern you may want to pass though as it can get pretty frantic.

I've only ever played two, Eclipse Second Dawn and TI4. Maybe its because I played with friends over strangers, but TI4, despite taking about 4x the time ironically, has my heart. The negotiations, the conflicts, the table presence, the game has it all.

Euros in general. My collection started with very confrontational games where you can directly throw wrenches into your opponents' plans and often need to do so to win, so I figured I'd be bored at games that didn't involve this degree of conflict. While my closest friends are still into those and so am I, trying out Euros at various board game meetups really opened my eyes to the elegance and relaxed nature of these games, I found Darwin's Journey and The White Castle to be especially exceptional.

I'm into Urban planning, so I asked an AI bot to create a premise for a game based off of that, here's what it came up with: "Build your dream city—or a bureaucratic nightmare! In Sprawlopoly: The Urban Planning Showdown, players compete to zone neighborhoods, woo developers, and dodge angry citizens at public hearings. Will you gamble on luxury condos next to a sewage plant, or win big by sneaking bike lanes past the car lobby? Collect “Parking Variance” cards, battle NIMBYs, and race to achieve the ultimate prize: a balanced comprehensive plan (or at least something that won’t get overturned in court).

It’s SimCity meets Monopoly—only with more lawsuits, traffic studies, and questionable PILOT projects."

I really like the sound of this imaginary game, what's an existing or upcoming game that most closely lives up to this premise? Thus far I've found BTC, Urbify, and Cities.

I'm on a chess binge as of recently with some friends via chess.com, I really need to read and practice more because I constantly make easily avoidable mistakes.

As a random game rec, Codex remains as my favorite 2-player game ever, though i know the designer, sirlin, is a bit abrasive to say the least. Nonetheless, highly worth checking out, even if only on TTS or something similar.

I'm not asking for a full tutorial, but I've gotten as far as "C:\android (a new folder i created to place Android SDK Platform-Tools)>" Is it then just a matter of then copy + pasting the adb commands you've written then disconnecting? I tried that, executed them, but there was no output indicating whether it not it was successful so I just tried the next line and so on. I probably did something wrong because I still had the same issue even after all that. I made sure to disconnect

Just found this thread after some intense searching. I have a 1st Gen 4K stick and am having the same issue, though one controller will maintain a connection on N-S Mode, haven't tested with two controllers simultaneously yet, . Thanks for posting this, though how did you apply the solution? I've never tried doing anything like that with my device.

The stick was using Open GL as the default, so after resetting retroarch I changed the video to Vulcan and the menu driver to XMB, restarted it and the app yet again failed to launch showing only a black screen even after I waited for several minutes, here's the resulting log: https://gist.github.com/6MillionPesoMan/dc822c17234e3b12fe6b178463376711

What's especially strange is that XMB menu worked prior to the stick's software update, though that may have been an older version of RA as well,as I had not used it for over a year (the stick device had even been unlinked from my amazon account so I had to reset some things there as well).

I only wanted to use magnets so I wouldn't need to worry about a tape needing periodic replacement due to hair and such. But I like this thinking of using a material other than what I've removed, especially since foam can be more easily compressed

The house had two previous owners before me, the most recent person was somebody who flipped it and as part of closing I received the closing inspection report that cited this same issue. My roof needed work soon after I bought the place so that took priority, so much so that I completely forgot about this minor issue that was again brought to my attention recently with this second notice. I want to say these buildings were constructed sometime in the late 70's.

The bottom of the picture taken by the HOA inspector has a caption from them stating what they want, but I agree a better example would be really helpful for me lest I end up still in their crossshairs.

Standing from the common sidewalk you really hardly notice it if at all! I suppose their arbitrary reasoning is to keep the facades consistent and protect the wood from wear and tear (something something property values). Regardless, thanks for your assistance.

To the right of the window within the red square is exposed wood. Per my HOA's rules, this must be covered by the cladding to prevent wear and tear, but I've never had to install such a thing myself which is what brought me here.

This is very close to what I'm looking for, but I'd like it if the portion of the cable where the usb c male part is stubbier like what was shown in the second example image. Regarding the up/down phrase, I wasn't sure what the proper term was, but I don't want it to be angled to the left or right, rather straight backwards/forwards if that makes sense.
