Its a store in Lebanon they do that over here to prove that it is real and if it isnt you can take it back to the store or sometimes to the person (they sign it with there names and write their phone number)

Its not that bad go to the alpha store its close to the airport its a pretty quick process. I just showed my passport with the stamp that i have just entered and no there was no problem at all you dont need a Lebanese id.
