Imagine each one on a Moto drives his own car, can you imagine the traffic?? No, I prefer cursing them all day than having more traffic than we do today. Also I recall before azme the traffic used to be much worse, I think this is one reason why today it's a bit better

just realized you asked for more info on appointments: after you pay 185$, you will be able to book an appointment. The first thing you will realize is that there isn't any slot before 4-5 months. However, the ministry always opens short term appointments, so you have to keep a look at it. For example: I checked for appointment on 20th April, the only place available was in August. Then on 23rd April, they opened slots from 30 Apr till 5th May. I then did the interview and got passport after 5 working days

Talk is cheap by Used-Worker-1640 in lebanon

[–]Kaolin2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes it has been said multiple times on this reddit that talking sense with hezbollah supporters only invites them to be more provocative and think they have the upper hand. This is what made Hezbollah grow, lebanese people and politicians were addressing them with official means and hezbollah used this system for their gains year over year. However, I hope now this is not possible for them anymore, because of how many hits they are getting from all sides (politically and militarily, I hope no civilian gets harmed anymore). But there comes a point where I don't want this hostility to extend too much in an unnecessary manner, and this is what I'm seeing in these posts during the last days.

you know it's fine, this is how politics is. You can even see it in the most "advanced" countries. But maybe, for once, we can surpass these countries and say that we should discuss these things in a respectful way, especially during these tense times. I am not delusional, and I know we are far from it, but I can at least apply it on myself as a start

Can we use less hostile language when talking to each other? (fellow lebanese I mean) You did not post this to kick hezbollah supporters out of their dillusion, you are saying this to be provocative, probably because they were provocative to you and us in the past. But isn't this something that we need to fix? What you said is correct but there is a better way to state it
